Thankful and updates

It's been a while since I have written on here, and Jason has been pestering me lately to do so. So I have been brainstorming recently for a good post. AND I think I finally found one.

There have been a lot of sad stories lately, and it's been hard for me to tear my focus away from the bad and really think of some good things. So in the spirit of christmas I have Found some really great inspirational and uplifting stories to look at and I hope they help to lift your spirits as they did mine.

But first I would like to write a thankful/blessed post, and update everyone as to how we are doing.
Thanksgiving has come and gone and I didn't get the chance to post what I am thankful for.
I am thankful to be alive, to live in a free country to have modern amentities available to me at all times. I'm so very blessed to have Corver in my life. It's hard being a single Mom but it's only temporary, and he is alive and well and I wouldn't have it any other way. I'm thankful for my husband and the sacrifices he is making and his service to our country. I love my church, and those, I get to worship our heavenly father and his son, our brother Jesus Christ with. I'm thankful I was raised in the church and am now an active member in my ward. I don't know who I would be if I wasn't. I'm especiaally thankful for ALL of my trials. They have made me who I am, and I know I have become stronger through them.
Now for a quick update:
Jason has been convoying often, he will be staying in his home location over Christmas and get a little break, if everything goes accordingly we'll be able to skype. Skype and Facetime are a Godsend!
He says hello to everyone. His health is good and there are so many amazing people  in our community and family that have been sending him packages (a little shout out to Becky Sawaya and Ellen & Barbara Anderson & families they have spoiled him rotten!)fortunatley he is staying busy or else he might get a little tubby!
Corver is doing really well, he is almost 4 1/2 months old I can't believe it. He is growing so, so fast, He had his 4 month check up last week he is 27.75 inches and 15.14 lbs. He is doing well although it was confirmed he does have colic. He has been having some respiratory issues also and we're taking him to the allergist next month, hooray! He is looking more and more like Jason everyday. My dad comments he looks like a different baby every week. I couldn't agree more.
I am doing well a little overwhelmed some days but thats life. I'll be going back to school come January, (it's been long enough). I'm excited to start back up and not stop again until i'm finished. What i'm going for is still a question. I've been trying to find the dogs new homes as well, I've been more comfortable with the idea everyday, so I think its the right choice.

Now for some stories...
This link, is about a man that climbed the Sears tower, with a bionic leg. It's incredible how far technology has come.

This link, is about a highschool girl that is bullied because of a brain defect, and a friend that helps her.

This NYPD officer giving boots to barefoot man. This is one of my favorites.

This is a neat video an Army wife shared, watch until the very end.

Here are some photos of what we have been up to. I hope you all have a very Merry Christmas.

Love,
The Calls
